TERMS

Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and Primsy for using the Primsy app, the API behind it, and this website. They are short because the product is: Primsy reads your own Threads insights and publishes the posts you schedule. Please read them, and read the Privacy Policy alongside them.

Effective September 6, 2026

The agreement

By creating an account, connecting a Threads account, or otherwise using Primsy (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and is part of this agreement. The Service is operated by Primsy ("we", "us"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live, to use the Service. You must also have a Threads account in good standing, because the Service does nothing without one. If you use the Service on behalf of a business or another person, you confirm that you are authorized to bind them to these terms.

Your account

  • You sign in with an email address and a one-time code sent to it. There is no password. Keep access to that email address secure; anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
  • You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
  • Tell us at support@getprimsy.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
  • You can delete your account at any time from inside the app. See Ending the agreement.

Connecting Threads

The Service works by connecting one Threads account through Meta's official API. When you connect, you authorize us to read your profile, your recent posts, and their insights, and to publish posts on your behalf, using the permissions listed in the Privacy Policy. You may only connect a Threads account that you own or are authorized to manage.

Your use of Threads remains subject to Meta's terms and policies. We are not affiliated with Meta. Meta may change or restrict its API, rate limits, or permissions at any time, and when it does, parts of the Service may stop working until we adapt. Threads access tokens expire every 60 days; we refresh them automatically, but if a refresh fails you will need to reconnect before scheduled posts can go out.

Scheduling and publishing

  • We publish only what you schedule. Until you queue a post, the connection is used only to read your insights. We never create, edit, or delete posts on your behalf except to publish a post you scheduled, at the time you scheduled it.
  • You are responsible for what you schedule. A scheduled post is published automatically at the chosen time, whether or not you are logged in. Review it before it goes out. Once Threads has published it, we cannot recall it; you can delete it on Threads.
  • Chains. A post can have follow-up parts. We publish each part as a reply to the previous one. If a later part fails, the earlier parts stay published and we notify you.
  • Links are rewritten. A URL in a scheduled post is replaced with a short Primsy link that redirects to your original URL, so the app can count clicks. The redirect is permanent for as long as your account exists. If you do not want a link rewritten, do not schedule it through the Service.
  • Delivery is best effort. We aim to publish within a minute of the scheduled time, and we retry when Threads is slow. Publishing can still fail because of Threads outages, rate or quota limits, an expired connection, or content Threads rejects. When it does, we mark the post failed and send you a notification. We do not publish a failed post later without you rescheduling it.
  • Notifications. You can turn off the "post published" notification and the weekly recap. Failure notifications cannot be turned off, because a silently failed post would defeat the purpose of the Service.

Your content

You own the text, photos, and videos you schedule through the Service and everything Threads reports about your account. We claim no rights in them.

So that the Service can work, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, copy, transmit, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you. In particular, media you attach to a post is stored on our servers and served from a public URL with an unguessable name, because Threads fetches media from a URL when it publishes. Anyone who has that exact URL can open the file. Do not attach anything you would not want to be public.

You confirm that you have the rights to everything you schedule and that publishing it does not violate any law, anyone's rights, or Meta's rules.

Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to:

  • schedule content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy;
  • send spam, run engagement schemes, or otherwise violate Meta's Threads terms or community guidelines;
  • connect a Threads account you are not authorized to manage;
  • probe, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service or its API, or access it by any means other than the app;
  • resell the Service or use it to build a competing product;
  • impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation.

We may remove scheduled content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

Subscriptions and payment

  • Free and Pro. The Service has a free tier with limits, currently on the number of posts you can schedule per week and on how far back analytics reach, and a paid Primsy Pro subscription that removes them. The current limits and prices are shown in the app before you buy. We may change the free tier, the Pro features, or the price for future billing periods; we will tell you in advance of any price change that affects you.
  • Billing is through Apple or Google. Subscriptions are purchased through the App Store or Google Play under your Apple or Google account and their terms. We do not receive your payment details.
  • Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Cancel from your Apple or Google subscription settings, not from inside the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep Pro until then.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We are unable to issue refunds ourselves for store purchases.
  • Subscription status is managed by RevenueCat, which tells our servers whether your subscription is active. If a purchase does not unlock Pro, use "Restore purchases" in the app or contact us.
  • Beta pricing. Where we advertise a beta price or a locked-in rate, the terms of that offer as shown at the time apply. A promotional rate does not change how cancellation or refunds work.

Beta software

Primsy is new. Features may change, be removed, or break. Insights are computed from the data Threads reports, which can be delayed, incomplete, or revised by Meta after the fact, and a "best hour" is a statistical suggestion from your own history, not a promise of results. Use your judgment. We will do our best to warn you before removing something you rely on.

Ownership

The Service, including the app, the API, the website, the design, and the Primsy name, belongs to us and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, and nothing more. "Threads" and "Meta" are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc., and Apple and Google marks belong to their owners.

Third-party services

The Service depends on Meta's Threads API, Apple and Google for distribution and billing, and the providers listed in the Privacy Policy for sign-in, hosting, notifications, error reporting, feedback, and subscription management. We choose them carefully but we do not control them. Their outages, changes, or policies can affect the Service, and their own terms govern your relationship with them.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that posts will always publish on time, or that insights will be accurate or lead to any particular outcome on Threads.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, followers, reach, revenue, or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we were advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim and fifty US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow some of these limitations, so some may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from content you schedule, your breach of these terms, or your violation of Meta's rules or anyone's rights.

Ending the agreement

By you. Delete your account from Account → Delete account in the app. This cancels and removes scheduled posts, destroys your Threads connection and its token, erases your synced data, and deletes your sign-in identity, immediately and permanently. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what is removed. Deleting the app alone does not delete your account, and scheduled posts will still publish; delete the account first. Store subscriptions must be canceled separately in your Apple or Google settings.

By us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if Meta revokes our API access, if the law requires it, or if we discontinue the Service. Where reasonable we will give you notice and a chance to export what you need. We may also cancel scheduled posts rather than publish them when we suspend an account.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination do, including Your content (as to content already published), Ownership, Disclaimer, Limitation of liability, and General.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service changes. The effective date at the top shows the current version. For a material change we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the new terms; if you do not, delete your account.

General

  • These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
  • If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
  • Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.
  • You may not transfer this agreement; we may transfer it to a successor of the Service, and we will tell you if we do.
  • Any dispute will first be raised with us by email so we can try to resolve it directly.
  • Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and have no obligation to provide support for the Service.
